Carlitos Muniquina

Carlitos was born in central Mozambique. He came to know Christ as a teenager through a persistent friend. Just before university, he became a Caregiver for Project Life, our program for HIV/AIDS widows. He had only planned to serve with us through university. But upon graduating, he knew God was calling him to stay. In 2011, he helped us open the Tessa Grace Nutrition Center for malnourished babies. Today, he leads our Project Life and Tessa Grace Nutrition programs, but he still considers himself a Caregiver. In 2020, he graduated with a master’s degree in public health.

Carlitos’s vision is to reach more babies and families with health and the love of Christ. He and his wife Joana have five children.
