CRI Missionary
Josh grew up in Garland, TX, and went on to attend Howard Payne University, where he met his wife, Julie. After graduating in 2002, the two were married that same year and moved to Waco, TX. There, Josh earned his master’s degree from Baylor University.
Josh and Julie returned to the North Texas area, where they are raising three beautiful daughters who are active members of their church and community. Josh has spent over twenty years teaching and coaching in the public school system, where he poured his heart into educating students and leading competitive teams across multiple sports.
Over time, God began stirring something deeper in Josh’s heart. Through a few short-term mission trips, he developed a growing passion for global missions and a deep burden for the lost—especially in parts of the world that are under-reached with the gospel. That passion soon turned into a restless desire to do more, which led him to the life-changing realization: this burden wasn’t just a feeling—it was a calling. God was leading him into full-time missions work.
Josh is preparing to serve full-time with Children’s Relief International. He would be grateful for your partnership through prayer and financial support.
