Flour and Songs in the Hungry Season
The hungry season has taken hold of many communities living in deep poverty.
With meager wages and failing harvests, countless families are left unsure of where their next meal will come from. Thanks to your generosity—and the faithful service of our International Missionary Partner, Rev. Kule—hope arrived in the form of flour… twice!
In July and again in early September, Rev. Kule hosted food distributions to provide flour for 500 families.
This gift of compassion brought relief to parents, lifting the burden of wondering how they would feed their children—and offered those who are struggling a tangible expression of their Creator’s love.
At both food distributions, gratitude overflowed. Songs of praise filled the air and joyful dancing ensued as they gave thanks to the Lord.
Thank you for helping us share gifts of compassion in a season when hunger threatens so many. Through the simple gift of flour, doors are being opened to the Gospel—one meal at a time.
