Grace & Knowledge Academy
Emergency Campaign
The Crisis
For more than a decade, Jackson and Blessing Rowland-Adeniyi have faithfully led Grace & Knowledge Academy (GKA) on Nigeria’s Muslim-Christian border. Their school has been a light in the darkness — a place where more than 300 children a day hear God’s Word while receiving an excellent education.
But now, their very lives — and the lives of their students — are in danger.
Radical Muslim groups have begun to threaten to kidnap Jackson & Blessing. These threats put every teacher and child at risk each day they gather on the Jege campus. It is no longer safe to continue as if things were normal.
Something has to change.
To protect their students and continue their mission, the Rowland-Adeniyis must launch a second GKA campus in Ilorin — a safer city away from these dangers.
The Solution
Secure the Jege GKA campus: Installing a protective wall, barbed wire, cameras, and daytime guards at the Jege campus.
Build a second campus in Ilorin: God has opened a door in Ilorin where Jackson & Blessing can administrate the Jege GKA campus in safety while establishing a second GKA campus. This will be a secure, Christ-centered learning environment where children can thrive without fear.
