Official Rules: CRI Hippo Giveaway
NO PURCHASE OR DONATION IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR DONATION WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
1. Sponsor
The CRI Hippo Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is sponsored by Children’s Relief International (“Sponsor”), PO Box 2470, Rockwall, Texas 75087.
2. Giveaway Period
The Giveaway begins August 13, 2026, and ends at 11:59 p.m. Central Time on September 29, 2026 (“Giveaway Period”). Entries received outside the Giveaway Period will not be eligible.
A random drawing will be conducted on or about September 30, 2026, before Children’s Relief International’s Night of Light event.
3. Eligibility
The Giveaway is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry.
Employees, officers, directors, and immediate family or household members of Children’s Relief International are not eligible to enter.
The Giveaway is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
4. How to Enter
Eligible individuals may receive one entry using either of the following methods:
Donation Entry
Make a donation of any amount to Children’s Relief International through the designated Feed the Hippo campaign page during the Giveaway Period.
The amount donated does not affect the number of entries received or the odds of winning. Each eligible donor may receive no more than one Giveaway entry, regardless of the number or amount of donations made.
Free Social-Media Entry
During the Giveaway Period:
Take a photo of yourself with the CRI hippo.
Post the photo to a public Facebook or Instagram account’s feed.
Tag @childrensrelief.
Include #FeedTheHippo.
Clearly indicate in the caption that the post is an entry in the CRI Hippo Giveaway.
The post and account must remain public and viewable through September 30, 2026, so Sponsor can verify the entry.
If the entrant’s social-media account does not provide sufficient contact information, Sponsor may request contact information through a direct message. Entrants should not post private contact information publicly.
5. Entry Limit
Limit one entry per person for the entire Giveaway, regardless of entry method.
Entering through both methods, donating more than once, posting more than once, or posting on multiple platforms will not provide additional entries or improve the entrant’s odds of winning.
Automated, fraudulent, incomplete, inaccessible, or otherwise noncompliant entries may be disqualified. Sponsor is not responsible for entries that cannot be viewed, verified, received, or attributed to an eligible entrant.
6. Prize
One winner will receive a Hippo-Sized Game-Day Package with an approximate retail value of $600, including:

One Wilson NCAA Redzone Composite Football
One Turtlebox speaker
One deck of Bicycle playing cards
One $50 Academy Sports + Outdoors gift card
An assortment of snacks
Prize components are subject to availability. Sponsor may substitute an item with another item of equal or greater value if necessary. The prize is nontransferable and may not be redeemed for cash. Gift-card use is subject to the issuer’s terms and conditions.
7. Winner Selection and Odds
One potential winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period.
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. A donation or larger donation does not increase an entrant’s odds of winning.
8. Winner Notification
The potential winner will be contacted using the email address associated with the donation or through the social-media account used to enter.
The potential winner must respond within five calendar days of the first notification attempt and may be required to confirm eligibility and provide a mailing address, telephone number, and other information reasonably necessary to award the prize.
If the potential winner cannot be contacted, does not respond on time, is found to be ineligible, or does not comply with these Official Rules, the potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected at random.
9. Prize Delivery
The prize may be picked up at the Children’s Relief International home office in Rockwall, Texas. If pickup is not reasonably practical, Sponsor and the winner may make mutually agreeable delivery or shipping arrangements.
Sponsor will communicate any applicable delivery details or limitations before the prize is awarded. The winner is responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes associated with accepting the prize.
10. Publicity and Entry Content
By submitting a social-media entry, each entrant confirms that the entrant created the submitted photograph or has permission to submit it and that its publication does not violate another person’s rights.
Entrants grant Sponsor permission to view and verify the submitted post for purposes of administering the Giveaway. Sponsor will obtain additional permission before using an entrant’s photograph in unrelated promotional materials unless such use is otherwise permitted by law.
Except where prohibited, the winner agrees that Sponsor may announce the winner’s first name, last initial, city, and state in connection with the Giveaway.
11. General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process, submits false information, attempts to obtain entries through fraud or automation, or otherwise violates these Official Rules.
If fraud, technical failure, platform disruption, natural disaster, or another circumstance outside Sponsor’s reasonable control affects the integrity or operation of the Giveaway, Sponsor may suspend, modify, or cancel the Giveaway and, when practical, select a winner from eligible entries received before the disruption.
Sponsor’s decisions concerning the administration and interpretation of these Official Rules are final, subject to applicable law.
12. Release and Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims arising from participation in the Giveaway or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prize, except where such a release is prohibited by law.
Sponsor is not responsible for technical failures, inaccessible or private posts, incorrect contact information, lost communications, platform outages, or unauthorized intervention affecting the Giveaway.
13. Social-Media Disclaimer
This Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc., Facebook, Instagram, Academy Sports + Outdoors, Igloo, CamelBak, Wilson, Turtlebox, Bicycle, or their respective affiliates.
By entering, each participant releases Facebook and Instagram from claims arising from or related to the Giveaway, to the extent permitted by law.
14. Privacy
Information collected in connection with the Giveaway will be used to administer the Giveaway, verify eligibility, contact the potential winner, deliver the prize, and comply with applicable law.
Information collected through a donation will also be handled according to Children’s Relief International’s applicable privacy and donor-record practices. Entry does not automatically constitute consent to receive marketing communications where separate consent is required.
15. Governing Law
The Giveaway and these Official Rules are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
