Children’s Relief International (CRI) is seeking donations to help in the aftermath of devastating flooding in Mozambique.
CRI’s national leaders, Jeronimo and Noemia Cessito, Manuel Rafael, and Ercylio Greva, are delivering emergency relief to those in immediate need. Heavy rains over the past week have led to catastrophic conditions within central Mozambique. The Pungwe River burst out of its banks with the worst flooding occurring in the towns and villages west of Dondo. Thousands of people have been affected, with unknown numbers losing their homes and farms to floodwaters.
Immediate aid is sought in the form of shelter, food, and medicine. In the coming days and weeks we anticipate a rise in illness and malaria.
Thank you for considering a donation.
