On October 4 a Category 4 hurricane made landfall in Haiti. It is laying out a wide path of destruction. The eye of the storm passed almost directly over Miragoáne, Haiti, where our missionaries, Pastor Jean and his wife Jean-Marie, live and have their ministries. It also strongly impacted Croix-des-Bouquet, where another of our missionaries, Luckson Capricien, and his family minister. Just before the storm hit, Jean texted: "The atmosphere is filled with anxiety, fear, hopelessness, and uncertainty." Several hours later, we heard from him again: "The storm is still going. It is very, very bad. We are shaken by the devastation."
Children's Relief International has opened a Hurricane Matthew Relief Fund. Would you please give to help our Haiti project leaders bring swift aid to their communities?
