"And whoever, in the name of a disciple, gives to one of these little ones even a cup of cold water to drink, truly I say to you, he shall not lose his reward." (Matthew 10:42)
The poor in South Asia often walk, sometimes more than a mile, to fetch water. They drink and cook with the water from ponds and rivers. They also use it for washing, bathing and caring for livestock. Their caste prevents them from using the village wells.
We raise funds to drill wells at each of our Deep Forest church plants making fresh water available to anyone, no matter their caste. The wells' presence next to the churches has served as an outstanding tool for evangelism and connection to the community at large.
For $3750 you can drill a clean water well to proclaim that Christ's love is for all—His living water knows no caste.
