Medical Mission Outreach
Pakistan

Please note that due to safety issues, we cannot show the faces of the people working at this project.
On the southwest edge of the Sawat valley, the Switzerland of Pakistan, the Taliban recently drove almost 2 million refugees from their homes.
Here in the midst of this area of intense conflict our partner in medical ministry is hard at work, reaching out to his people, showing compassion.
I carry out the Great Commission in Pakistan so God has placed me in a difficult place to be His witness (John 15:16). Here Christians are a tiny minority and evangelism is banned. Persecution is in full swing. In the rural villages around my city most in need of help and hope and my aim is to reach their every nook and corner and spread the Good News of Jesus Chris through medical care. In this way I will both serve and strengthen my people. My team consists of a lab technician, a pharmacy assistant, and several nurses – all Christians. We offer blood screening and attend to infectious diseases such as TB, Polio, Dengue fever, measles and malaria. All free and in the name of Christ. On a typical trip to a village we load up and arrive early so we can begin our day with a reading from the Bible and then prayer. Then we see villagers, screen them and distribute medicine as needed. We start with the Christians, but many Muslims come for help too and our care is a great witness. All we do is a demonstration of Christ’s love for us.
