King of Kings Ministry

Rajahmundry, India

King of Kings

The relatively small Indian city (pop. 500,000) of Rajahmundry is nationally known because it is located alongside the Godavari river. People come from around the country to bath in its waters, believing that doing so brings the forgiveness of sins. As a whole, 15 million children live as bonded child laborers and many are found right here in Rajahmundry. Our partners at this site are two brothers, Isaiah and Anantha Gottimukkala (We affectionately call them the G brothers). Together we conduct a 3-pronged project:

  • We have a children’s home for orphans and children of widows.
  • We plant churches in the Deep Forest area north of the city.
  • We conduct a microloan and evangelism program among women who live and work in the city’s rock quarry.

Pastor Isaiah say of their vision for the work:

Greetings in the name of Our Lord and Savior, Lord Jesus Christ. There is always a need to help children. Here there are many orphans and children in homes where there is only a mother who is a widow. They are hungry and most times neglected. We help in Christ’s name and have faced opposition. But we pray hard to our Lord and have been protected. I remain strong in my personal witness and from this many have come to believe.
