My Story

It began when Alan Pieratt, long time friend, encouraged me to make a trip to see the CRI projects.  My husband and I had been supporters of Alan and Melody from way back and followed their ministry closely.  That trip was my first time overseas.  I came face to face with real people who were hungry, who had children to feed, who faced the devastation of AIDS and who were hopeless without Jesus.  I wanted to do more…

Alan was in need of someone who could manage the sponsorship program.  When I found out it was about computers, organization, and kids, I volunteered!  Since that time I have been using my weekends to manage the sponsorship program (in addition to a fulltime job withMissouri 4-H).  Now I believe God is moving me towards working with CRI full-time.  The projects are expanding and there are more families, more children to reach.
