Faith, humility, honesty and ambition are values central to who we are. They describe what we aspire to be.
Faith. We strive to design and conduct each of our overseas projects in a way that places the person of Christ at its center. His name is, as Paul said, above every other (Eph 1:21), and his life the model for all we do.
Humility. This virtue was encouraged by the prophets (Cf., Isaiah 57:15) and admonished by Christ (Matt. 18:4). We pursue it by realizing how small we are in comparison to the need and by reminding ourselves how much our work depends on the convergence of many people, each with their own calling to faith, compassion and service.
Honesty. We strive for a high standard of integrity based on the sure foundation of the fear of God (Lev. 19:36; Rom 12:17). We expect the same from our overseas partners.
Ambition. Zeal for God's Kingdom was a value taught by Christ (Cf., Matt 25:13-30) and repeatedly urged by Paul (Cf., Rom. 12:1; 1 Cor. 9:27; 15:58; Eph. 6:7; Phil. 2:12; 1 Tim. 4:5). Our commitment is to make as much of a difference in the world as we can, and thereby contribute to God's work in our time.
