Pastor Isaiah Babu Gottimukkala and his wife Surekha are the founders of the Rajah Boys Home in southern India. Like much of India, the area is relatively modern with a developing middle class. But just a stone's throw away, people live in deep poverty and families are often dependent on the work of the children for survival. A child who labors all day in the fields or behind a roadside stand is denied education and locked into a life of poverty and hard labor. Especially vunerable are those children born to the lowest caste, or who have lost one or both parents.
For these reasons, Isaiah is developing two parallel ministries. The Rajah Boys Home shelters children from the Deep Forest area and provides them a loving Christian environment and a decent education. Alongside the home is his work in the Deep Forest area in evangelism, church planting, and helping destitute families.
