Typical Team: This is probably our most diverse project for team members. No matter your skill set there will be something for you to become involved with. A few areas include, teaching English, women’s ministries, knitting, painting, baking, praying, music, medical, crafts, sports and possible construction of a Green Door home. The project scope includes the El Shaddai Christian School pre-K through grade 4, Project Life (compassion ministry to AIDS widows), medical clinic and nutrition center, a farm, a youth vocational-tech program and more.
Useful skills include but are not limited to: love of children, medical, education, construction, prayer and faith sharing.
Nairobi, Kenya

- Team size: Limited to 12
- Typical trip cost: $3500 including airfare.
Typical Team: How a team chooses to serve is often dictated by the skills and interest the team members bring with them. In Kenya there are opportunities to spend time at the Cornell Christian Academy teaching English, assisting the teachers and leading fun, educational games and activities throughout the day. Construction projects at the school or at the project’s farm are potentially available. Assisting with medical care and home visits and leading a community outreach/evangelism via a Vacation Bible school program are firm options.

Rajahmundry
& Kolkata, India

- Project names: King of Kings Ministry and Mudpath Ministries.
- Lodging: Area hotels
- Team size: Limited to 8+
- Typical trip cost: $3500 including airfare.
This trip is usually divided between our projects in Rajahmundry and Kolkata:
King of Kings Ministry — This project located in Rajahmundry is diverse and allows teams to focus in three areas: the Rajah Children’s Home, Deep Forest Church plants and the Rock Quarry. The boys and girls at the Rajah Children’s Home love the attention that team members can give. There will be opportunities to teach English, play cricket and lead fun, educational VBS type activities. Some teams can choose to provide “handyman” help at the home (painting and repairing).
Ministry in the Deep Forest region will encompass visiting and encouraging the pastors at our church plants, distributing rice to needy families and praying with church members. A VBS program can be developed for the children at these churches. These acts of compassion and encouragement will be carried over to those who work in the Rock Quarry.
Mudpath Ministries – On the outskirts of Kolkata, Smriti will walk with you on the mud paths in the villages of Nutan-Hut and Goragacha. Here she has organized day clubs and sewing classes for mothers of the children. The team will present Vacation Bible school type activities with these children as well as witness some of the sites of Kolkata, such as Mother Teresa’s house of the dying.
