Help us slay giants!

Teams

For Children’s Relief International, “Giants” represent the problems that cause deep poverty: ignorance, oppression, injustice, false beliefs and abandonment.

One way we fight these giants is through short-term trips. These trips provide opportunities for you to witness poverty first hand and participate in efforts to slay giants through hard work, fellowship and partnership with local leaders.

Serving in Hill Country among the giants is not for everyone. There are three things we ask all potential team members to consider before joining a team.

Are you willing to serve?

Team members are first and foremost servants who want to make a difference in the world and are willing to step out of their comfort zones for a time to help others less fortunate. This requires an attitude of humility and strength, as you serve under and along side our national partners. Do you feel you have what it takes to serve with these attitudes?

Are you ready to learn?

A result of time spent in Hill Country is a bigger view of the world, a better understanding of what God is doing in our time, and how YOU might contribute to His work. The trip will change you. Are you ready to embrace that kind of change?

Are you prepared to share?

Choosing to slay giants places a new responsibility on your shoulders. You will return with new relationships and first hand knowledge of great need. Will you be willing to share the need and awaken others to our good work in Hill Country around the world?

If you are prepared to serve, learn and share we welcome you to join us in hill country on a short-term trip.

Join us in Hill Country

Traveling to hill country brings it’s own set of challenges. This is why we limit the size of our teams and the age of team members*. All team members should comply with our Christ-centered approach to ministry.

*18 is the minimum age of team members. Those over 70 will be asked to submit a Doctor’s clearance letter.
