Clean Water

In many places in Africa and India there are no wells and families draw water from streams or ponds. Manure from livestock and animals cause these sources of open water to be unsafe to drink.
During times of drought, they can dry up completely. In the towns and villages there are wells with hand-pumps, but often they are shallow and the combination of a high water table and sandy soil can result in water infected by sewage. We are thankful for the recent donation of a Lonestar 200 well rig to our work in Mozambique that can reach levels far below the surface where the water is safe and clean. We send in drilling teams several times a year. Contact us if you would like to know more.
