“I love the Green Door 5K event. I have participated in it each year since its inception, even driving 3.5 hours from College Station the morning of last year's event in order to be there. It is a great way to introduce our community to the ministry of Children's Relief International. More importantly, through it's efforts, you help feed the hungry and house the homeless. It is a wonderful event to be a part of!”

"Last year I did the 1 mile fun run, which was a blast.  The weather is great at that time of year and the crowd size is big enough to be fun and competitive without spending 30 minutes walking to your car afterwards.  It's also awesome to see how spending a morning with your local community can have such an impact on the other side of the world.  I'd encourage anyone with an interest in running, missions or both to get involved." My name is Luis Antonio and I have been blind from birth. I live with my two children and wife in Mandruzi. I do not have wealth, I make crafts at the Cooperative Association for the Disabled. I am trying to make a better life for my family so I am going to school. I would love to have a house for my family as I know it can provide them safety even if something were to happen to me. I am afraid I will never have enough resources to make this dream come true. I’m trusting God and praying for a miracle as I work hard and do the best I can to provide for my loved ones.
